Police ID driver shot, killed in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Wooden) Authorities have unveiled the identify of the driver who died just after he was discovered with evident gunshot wounds adhering to a crash in Kalamazoo about the weekend.

On Wednesday, the Kalamazoo Office of General public Safety recognized the target as Bader Momamed Farwana, 25, of Kalamazoo.

All around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, officers have been sent to Jackson Avenue around Portage Avenue for a crash.

Police reported the driver was found with an apparent gunshot wound and died at the scene.

KDPS explained it is investigating the incident as a homicide.
